Alpinestars Philippines hosted their first ever track day at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga last July 13. More than two hundred motorcycle enthusiasts participated in the event, with some riders coming from as far as the Visayas and Mindanao.
As their way of promoting safety, users of Alpinestars were given free admission while non-Alpinestars users were allowed to join the exclusive track day for a minimal track free of PhP2,500 which already include lunch, a souvenir shirt from Imprint Customs, drinks from MySip, a basic track tutorial by PSBK Champ Marvin Mangulabnan and coach Joey “Storm” Rivero of the Zero 2 Podium Riding School, and a chance to win a KYT helmet, Suomy helmet, or a brand-new Yamaha Aerox 155 scooter from Wheeltek.
Most of the participants brought their own bike to the event, but they also get to test ride some of the newest bikes from Benelli, Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. Honda and KTM on the other hand displayed some of their new bikes.
