Autohub Group, the official distributor of Vespa scooters in the Philippines, has pulled off the covers of the 2020 model line-up of the GTS and Carbon range.
The new Vespa GTS range now comprises of three versions: GTS SuperSport, GTS Touring, and the Vespa GTS SuperTech.
The Vespa GTS Touring, a spirit of adventure among Vespa travel lovers. It is equipped with an evocative top fairing that makes the scooter stand out, while its rear luggage rack has a spacious under-saddle compartment that guarantees excellent load capacity. The GTS Touring also features a refined and elegantly upholstered saddle and a dedicated plate on the back of the shield.
Meanwhile, the Vespa GTS SuperSport boasts of dynamic acceleration and strong character that is emphasized by total black rims and two bold matte colors, namely White Innocenza, Grey Titanio, and the brand-new Blue Vivace, both enhanced with new dedicated graphics. As with the GTS SuperSport also stands out for its double-upholstered saddle with clasp.
New on the GTS range is the Vespa GTS SuperTech. This top variant is the first large-bodied Vespa to adopt a fully digital instrument cluster with a 4.3-inch full-color TFT display. The instrument panel, as well as displaying all the classic information such as speed, total and partial mileage, ambient temperature, and fuel level, works as a display for the Vespa MIA smartphone connectivity system.
The Vespa GTS SuperTech is powered with the latest 300cc 4-stroke, 4-valve single-cylinder engine, liquid-cooled and with electronic injection: the fruit of work by the Piaggio Group research and development center and known as 300 hpe (High-Performance Engine).
For the Vespa Sprint Carbon, the entire steel body and details are in the brand’s revolutionary carbon look, matched with decals to flaunt its sporty look.
Being enriched by advanced technological features such as I-get Engine, ABS (Antilock Braking System), Immobilizer, USB port for easy charging of smartphones and electronic devices, Vespa Sprint Carbon is designed to deliver better stability, handling, efficiency, and comfort.
Powering the Vespa Carbon range is an I-get engine, which is a single-cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled engine that is available with either 125cc or 150cc and has an electronic injection, and 3-valve timing.
The injection system has been optimized and improved in terms of efficiency; the ECU has a barometric sensor that guarantees optimum combustion every time in any condition of use and at any altitude.
