Design renders of 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe unveiled ahead of Geneva Motor Show
Before its global premier at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show this February, Hyundai Motor has released the first images of the new generation of Santa Fe, which will showcase a luxurious and striking design based on its robust, stylish, and voluminous composition that reflects the brand’s identity.
The rendered images show that the exterior highlights the frontal section of the new Santa Fe. It has a large cascading grille complimented by a separate headlight system featuring divided daytime running lights (DRLs) and main lamps.
Meanwhile, the side of the Santa Fe showcases the vehicle’s dynamic characteristics. It has a simple yet sleek roof line and the running line from the headlights to the taillights are merged to form a harmonious look and feel. The rear section features both a confident and stable stance with unique taillights, dual mufflers, and a voluminous bumper design.
This fourth generation of Santa Fe offers a comprehensive package of Hyundai’s latest safety features under the Smart Sense technology umbrella. The innovative and industry-first Rear Occupant Alert monitors the rear seats to detect passengers and alerts the driver when leaving the car. The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning is now enhanced by an automated braking function. To avoid the risk of collision when reversing out of narrow areas with limited visibility, the system warns the driver and applies the brakes automatically.
