Team Suzuki Pilipinas bags 2nd overall championship win at 2017 Suzuki Asian Challenge

The race season ends with Philippines winning overall for the second time

After a tough battle with other Asian contenders, Team Suzuki Pilipinas was able to grab a 2nd overall championship win at the 2017 Suzuki Asian Challenge, a first for the Philippines at the single-make race hosted by Suzuki Motor Corporation.

The final round saw the country’s frontrunner April King Mascardo (#16) and Eane Jaye Sobretodo (#22) working together to secure the overall standing at 2nd place. Qualifying saw both riders off to a good start, but Mascardo low-sided mid-way on his first lap, which required his bike to be fixed.
