In the past two decades, we have had every model of the Mercedes-Benz C-class in our Fastfleet beginning with its predecessor, the W201 190E 2.3- 16. We have owned the W202 C280, W203 C200K, W204 C300 Avantgarde, W204 C200 Kompressor, W204 C350 AMG, and the W204 C250 CGI AMG Coupé, which we still have for long-term testing.
There is no doubt that the C-class is a critical model for Mercedes-Benz. Until the A and B-series’ began to roll out 4 years later, the C-class was definitely the entry point into the much coveted brand since 1993. Every year, Mercedes-Benz updated its models with more standard equipment as they relentlessly innovated to remain the important brand that they are in the industry and to remain leagues ahead of most of the competition.
We have had only great experiences with the Mercedes-Benz C-class in general throughout the years; sure, naturally some variants were not so good, especially the SportCoupé and the CLC-class. As time soldiered on and the C-class got its routine updates and upgrades, it also began to grow physically almost completely out of its predestined category as a premium executive compact sedan. The upcoming all-new W205 C-class, which will be released soon, has grown seriously larger than ever before, boasting new everything but at a serious cost penalty. This is still all good because the fact that the new model is arriving presents a fabulous opportunity to consumers who have been saving and waiting for the right time to buy their dream Mercedes-Benz C-class.
The outgoing W204 C-classes, unlike their older predecessors, are very much in demand because they represent a culmination of over 20 years of experience and evolution which makes the car very much current and still way more advanced than most cars sold in the country. Standard equipment like powerful and elastic turbodiesels, updated 7-speed G-Tronic Plus automatic gearboxes, potent yet very fuel efficient direct injection turbo gasoline engines, outstanding infotainment systems, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, Bi-Xenon headlights, glorious rearwheel drive, fully independent plush yet agile suspension, all the active and passive safety measures, and so much more! What we always appreciated with Mercedes-Benz in general and the official domestic distributor CATS Motors, Inc. in particular is that their packaging of the C-class is so sorted and well thought out, as a car owner you do not feel marginalized.
In essence, the local C-classes, especially with the final run, simply are scaled down versions of their larger brothers the E-class and S-class. So I am talking about sheer size and space nuances, but execution is consistently elegant, opulent, and full featured. The remaining stocks of the W204 have most of the desired equipment demanded by the more discerning customers at incredible outright prices and at very special finance packages. The best of the breeds for the least amount of money or at optimal financing. Leasing packages are also available for keen business owners who require such instruments.
For the collector and distinguished enthusiast, the remaining W204 C63 AMG’s in both sedan and coupé variations, in stock, are the last ultrahigh performance Mercedes-Benz cars that are powered by the magnificent and charismatic 6.2-liter V8 engines! As an additional bonus, these AMG’s are sold without speed limiters combined with practically every option installed already! The upcoming C63 AMG will be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 instead and will cost significantly more when they do become available. These last C-classes are genuinely intelligent buys without compromise or regrets. Of all the Mercedes-Benz C-class models we have ever had, the W204 was the very best built and packaged. It’s not just because they’re still new, but more that Mercedes-Benz genuinely designed and engineered the cars at considerably higher standards thanks also to very stiff competition. So, what are you all waiting for? The very exclusive supplies are very limited! Godspeed!
