Grupo Toyota Meet and Super Sprint: The Grupo Toyota (GT) Meet Eat Drive Year Ender Meet with the Super Sprint Clinic

The Grupo Toyota (GT) Meet Eat Drive Year Ender Meet with the Super Sprint Clinic was held at Blue Bay Walk, Metropark Macapagal last December 12, 2021. It was the first open invite of the group since the beginning of the pandemic. Over 200 vehicles were present and thousands of pesos worth of products and merchandise were given away.

The Super Sprint clinic fed the need for speed of participants and viewers alike. More importantly, it delivered good results in helping to improve the times of drivers on a relatively fast-paced course. The essence of Super Sprint is to be an accessible, safe, and organized event.

Members feasted their eyes on a seemingly never-ending row of cars in the main display area, open parking lot, and even up to the 3 levels of the steel parking building at Blue Bay Walk.  Notable builds included 2 Toms GR Yaris’ from Autoholic, 2 highly modded GT86s from Autoplus Sports, a Caldina wagon, a sleeper AE101 with a 7afe turbo, built engine from CMJ Autohub. Members also feasted their eyes on GT’s showbiz baby brother Andre Yllana’s Tom’s Starlet, previously owned by his father Jomari Yllana, a show-winner AE101 wagon meticulously built by Dynamics Performance Engineering/Lim Bros, and another show and go build SW20 MR2 from JJ Autoworkz.

In addition to checking out the awesome vehicles, visitors could shop at over a dozen car-related vendors at the meet.  The meet was also a thank you and welcome back to GT friends and partner shops as the group welcomes the beginning of the return to normal. Blue Bay Walk was an ideal location, providing a spacious open-air venue, perfect for safer get-togethers with the whole family. After having only virtual meets in 2020 and most of 2021 due to COVID restrictions, the revival of the GT face-to-face Meet and Greet event was a warm welcome to the holiday season.

Grupo Toyota and Super Sprint would like to thank the City of Pasay, especially Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, Metropark and Blue Bay Walk, Toyota Manila Bay, Walter Sound, and Stage Lighting, Autoplus Sports/Motul Philippines, Autoperformance Philippines, Hazardboy Performance/STEK Philippines, Runstop PH/Fabrix Eco Filter PH, Cleanshine Master, PartsPro, Overspec’d, Dynamics Performance Engineering, JJ Autoworkz, Steve’s Car Care, Gen Tea/Sundae Bites, Hublink/Smartfuels2Race, Japanice Parts, Pep’s Garage, Autoholic, SB Salon, CMJ Autohub, GS Battery, Gyro Fuzion Enterprises, Legends of the 90s, OEM Autofab, JP Wheels.
