In this second issue of C! Inside, Carl Cunanan tries out both the driver’s and passenger’s seat on the Porsche 911 GT3, at the Aldenhoven Testing Center, and in the driving rain!
Ironically, the Porsche driving instructor tells Carl to speed up on curves but slow down on the straights. The hazard is standing water. On the banked curves of Aldenhoven’s beautiful speed oval, the rainwater runs down the incline and the driving high on the outside lane keeps the 911 on dry-enough pavement. While on the the straightaways, the rainwater is static and presents hydroplaning hazards.
