About a year since Motostrada resumed operations in September 2018, a family not new in the industry; once hailed as one of the primary importers of premium European motorcycle brands and gear, comes back bigger and stronger.
Motostrada, the mother company that brought CF Moto, Zontes, and the re-emerging Italian legend, MV Agusta, to the Philippine motorcycle market, treated their clients to a fun filled, adrenaline-pumped weekend at the Clark International Speedway.
“This is our way of saying thank you to all our clients and patrons that we all consider part of our family. We wanted them all to have fun, discover their bikes’ potential and try out all our other bikes as well..”, Joanne Lu (Head of Marketing) shared.
Roughly about 114 participants registered in the event. A whole bunch of CF Moto, Zontes and MV Agusta owners were given the green light to rip the track wide open. They also opened the track to other brands as well. Dustin Esguerra, Josh Tan, Paul Mark Doblada, Tracy Soyangco and Chino Hung moderated the track sessions for safety and learning.
Not only free track usage, but a full range of MV Agusta bikes were opened for test rides as well. It was like kindergartens assemble when the host announced that the MV Agusta track time slot is up next. What seemed like a pretty rare occasion, everyone had to take their chances.
The icing on the cake spotlights two A9 175 scooters ushered for raffle, while everyone was treated for a hearty lunch before opening the afternoon track session.
The affair ended when Godwin Desierto and Christian Allan Tabilog were selected as winners for the two scooters raffled off.
Seemed everyone was a winner that day. I say it was a well-organized event to keep the communities intact and promote brand loyalty. Manufacturers need to keep their clients closer, and encourage more brand experience.
