Another round of fuel price hikes set to take effect on June 14, 2022

While people are still reeling from the rather large fuel price hikes that took effect earlier this week, motorists should once again brace themselves for yet another round of increases set to take effect on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

For this round, we can expect the following fuel price movements:

  • Diesel: +P4.20-P4.50
  • Gasoline: +P1.40-P1.60
  • Kerosene: +P4.70-P4.90

These price hikes can still be attributed to the European Union’s ban on Russian oil, as well as the increased demand for fuel products by countries emerging from lockdown. All these factors continue to put a strain on demand for oil, which in turn has driven prices up.

Still, let’s hope and Pray that things ease up soon.
