Bentley Motors ended the year 2021 on a high.
Well, higher sales compared to the previous year, with 14,659 vehicles sold for a 31 percent increase over the same period in 2020.
This growth can be attributed to its three best-selling models. These are the Bentayga (40 percent of sales), the Continental GT (33 percent), and the Flying Spur that accounted for 27 percent of total sales.
The Bentayga continues to be the best-selling luxury SUV for five years running. The introduction of a hybrid version further solidified its position since more customers seem to be going green. The same is true of the Flying Spur, which now boasts of hybrid power.
The Continental GT, meanwhile, gets a Speed variant, adding more derivatives that give consumers more choices. And this, Bentley says, is the secret to its continued success.
As for sales volumes, half of these come from the Americas and China. And while the world continues to brave the current pandemic, Bentley is still confident that things will look up and it will see more sales as we move headlong into 2022.
