In May of 2018, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation introduced the Xpander 7-seat Multi-Purpose Vehicle. Later that year, a group of enthusiastic owners expressed their love for this sleek new vehicle by forming Club Xpander Philippines (CXP).
Celebrating its 3rd year anniversary, CXP has been championing the Xpander by likewise expanding its reach to more Filipinos who seem to have taken a liking for this vehicle’s efficient packaging, sleek design, versatile people, and cargo-carrying capabilities, and overall value for money.
The mix of owners is wide—from all walks of life who have come together in the name of their pride and joy. Yet more than just sharing a passion for the Xpander, these folks have likewise shown their care and concern for those around them.
Despite the pandemic, for instance, they came together to help out victims of Typhoon Ulysses in Cagayan and Isabela by donating more than P60,000 worth of food, clothing, and other relief goods. And they even used their vehicles to deliver the goods to the communities affected by the calamity.
Yes, it may be a car club. Yet Club Xpander Philippines in its three short years of existence continues to show that it is a club with a heart.
