Corvette Stingray makes Southeast Asian debut at Chevrolet Motorama

The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), the exclusive importer and distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in the country has unveiled today the 2019 Corvette Stingray Coupe 3LT.
It is the centerpiece of the Chevrolet Motorama 2018, which opens today until the 28that the SM Megamall Fashion Hall.
“We are extremely proud that the Corvette’s first launch in Southeast Asia is happening in the Philippines. As we preview the legendary sports car in the country – on the 65thyear anniversary no less – we are happy to provide the market with a driving experience like no other,” said Atty. Alberto B. Arcilla, President and Managing Director, TCCCI.
Powered by a 6.2L V8 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, the 2019 Corvette Stingray Coupe 3LT sends 448.7 brake horsepower and 458 ft-lb of torque straight to its rear wheels.
It uses competition sport bucket seats, an 8-inch Chevrolet MyLink touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Bose 10-speaker premium sound system, magnetic selective ride control and a performance data recorder.
“Bringing such an iconic American supercar in the Philippines is a testament of General Motors’ commitment in the country and the rest of the region. Throughout its history, the Corvette has proven the position of Chevrolet as a leader in producing vehicles with spirited performance and high quality design,” said Ian Nicholls, President of General Motors Southeast Asia.
The 2019 Corvette Stingray Coupe 3LT is priced at Php 8,546,888 and will be available at the dealerships by the first quarter of 2019.
