At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc and its HARI Foundation Inc provided aid to frontliners and health institutions via the Biyahe ng Bayani program. Now, HARI continues to do its share to help our country’s healthcare system as it turned over an initial batch of Hyundai Starex Ambulances to the Department of Health Region IV-B.
Sourced from Hyundai Binan, the 18 Hyundai Starex cargo vans that have been customized as fully equipped ambulances will be deployed to various health institutions in the MIMARPA area. This is part of the 250-strong ambulance fleet that the DOH plans to acquire for the region.
It is all part of the government’s drive to help in the country’s battle against COVID-19 and other diseases. As mentioned above, these ambulance units are fully stocked with all the necessary equipment needed to administer critical care en route to hospitals all in the hopes of saving as many lives as possible.
With this, Hyundai also hopes that it can contribute in its own way to helping save lives during this COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
