Ferrari is no stranger to receiving awards. It has bagged a number of honors for its designs and engineering. Now, it can add the Car Design Award to its trophy collection as the Roma has been recognized in the Production Cars category for 2020.
The remote awards ceremony was held earlier this week and gave out a host of awards for different classes. The jury of 12 top automotive journalists from leading international automotive publications selected a number of cars to see which ones were worthy to top honors.
The Ferrari Roma, which is touted as Maranello’s take on a Gran Turismo for the 21st century. While it my be modern, it takes inspiration from the legendary GTs of the 1950s and 60s and adds cutting edge technologies to enhance the driving experience.
The Car Design Awards was first established in 1984 by Auto&Design Magazine and ran until 1987. It was later relaunched in 2016.
