Foton PH introduces Euro 4 compliant vehicle lineup

With a stricter implementation of the Clean Air Act on local fleets, Foton Philippines has complied to the standards of the act by launching the Tornado M4.2C truck with Blue Energy Euro 4 engines.

The Tornado M4.2C truck is powered by an advanced ISF 3.8 liter Cummins turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine that produces more than 170 PS, generates 600 Nm of torque, and is mated to six-speed manual transmission. The engine also has exhaust gas recirculation technology, diesel oxidizing catalyst (DOC), and particle oxidizing catalyst (POC), components which are responsible for the Tornado’s enhanced fuel efficiency and lower emission.

To ensure safety, the Foton Tornado M4.2C is equipped with anti-lock braking and electronic brake distribution, full air-brake function, rear parking sensors, reverse camera, a redesigned panoramic windshield, an additional passenger-side under mirror to better cover the blind spots, adjustable headlights, and three-point ELR seatbelts.

Inside, the Tornado has a touchscreen infotainment system that can guide the driver when reversing, has a Bluetooth connectivity, an MP5 and SD card slot, and control buttons on the steering wheel.

The 2018 Foton Tornado M4.2C truck has a starting price of Php 1,190,000.
