After a series of fuel price hikes over the past few weeks, oil companies announced a price rollback that took effect earlier today, May 17, 2022.
Diesel prices were slashed by an average of P3.10 while gasoline was cut by P0.40 per liter. Kerosene prices were likewise included in the rollback, with a P2.10 per liter decrease.
With this, motorists can breathe a sigh of relief as their fuel bills will decrease ever so slightly. Yet with fuel prices remaining unstable, we are uncertain as to how long these prices will last.
