As the automotive industry moves into a Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electrified (CASE) era, new technology companies are being formed to help accelerate and eventually support this shift. One of the new ones is the venture between auto giant Geely Holdings and Foxconn Technologies.
The new company will focus on helping automakers accelerate their shift to CASE technologies by providing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products and consulting services. These include studying vehicles, parts, technologies, innovations, and other aspects of the Connected, Autonomous, and Electrified vehicle and technologies to help improve their performance and benefits to users.
Apart from this Geely and Foxconn will provide solutions to problems and setbacks that manufacturers and future customers may encounter. All this is geared to towards a smooth transition to make the most of a CASE-filled motoring future.
