Geely continues to help fight COVID-19 with new batch of surgical mask donation

From an initial donation of 20,000 surgical masks made to the Philippines by Geely Holdings Group through the Li Shufu Charity Foundation. Geely adds to this with a new batch of 100,000 face masks.

Coursed through the Department of Health for use by medical frontliners who are battling the dreaded coronavirus, the surgical masks donation are part of the Mutual Assistance and Solidarity package. A ceremony was led by the China-ASEAN Entrepreneurs Association Preparatory Committee to handover the said donation.

The package comprised of 200,000 surgical masks for the entire ASEAN region. This is Geely’s and Li Shufu Charity Foundation’s bid to try and curb the effects of the COVID-19 virus.

By the same token, Geely Automobile has equipped its vehicles, such as the Coolray and the upcoming Azkarra, with CN95 filters to help keep the air inside the cabin fresh and germ free.
