MAN Trucks celebrates 30th anniversary

MAN Trucks continues to provide quality services to customers

MAN Automotive Concessionaires Corporation recently celebrated its 30th year at the Manila Polo Club, which was shared with the shakers and movers of different commercial and transportation industries and MAN Truck and Bus SE representatives.

MAN Automotive Concessionaires Corporation started its journey in 1989, initially offering buses to the leading transportation provider in the country. Soon after, to completely represent the brand in the country and based on the market demand, MACC started to bring in the MAN trucks as well.

Through the years, MACC assures its clients of impeccable products and services. In 2010, MACC opened the biggest showroom in Asia Pacific and service center for buses located along EDSA in Quezon City. Aside from the flagship showroom, MACC expanded its network with several service centers to better cater to its clients’ service needs – Biñan, Laguna; Mandaue City, Cebu; Cagayan de Oro City; Cauayan, Isabela; Davao City and Bamban, Tarlac.

Aside from expanding to serve the clients better, MACC also introduced a variety of pioneering innovations. In the bus segment, the MAN low-entry bus was introduced; equipped with an automatic gearbox, electronic brake retarder, CCTV, WIFI connection and electric signage.

For trucks, MACC pioneered the Fleet Management System with Mobileye Collision Avoidance System as well as MAN TipMatic gearbox feature that automatically optimizes shifting so that the best and most appropriate gear is always selected, making sure that drivers aren’t too fatigued, more efficient and safety-oriented.

Further developments were being implemented, MACC moved the Assembly Department in a bigger lot in Meycauayan, Bulacan in 2015 and the year after, MACC started the distribution of DY cranes in the country. In 2017, MACC opened several service centers and satellite offices that can cater to the needs and demands of the clients, these service centers are located in Laguna, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro. In the same year, MACC started the distribution of Amco Veba and Hyva brands. Soon after, other service centers in Isabela and Tarlac were opened.

For 30 strong years now, MACC has thrived in making MAN more visible and accessible to various industries providing technologically advanced, top-quality commercial vehicles and the corresponding support services and allied brands to complete the line-up.
