The Tuason Racing and Phoenix PULSE-powered #RaceForFrontliners kicked off last April with a series of e-races for both celebrity and racers from the motorsport world. Finally, the series culminated with Round 5 seeing winners taking home prizes for their respective barangays and raising around P403,000 for frontliners.
The celebrity class saw the likes of Troy Montero, Phoemela Barranda, Gaby Dela Merced, Fabio Ide, and Ivan Capariet go up against each other for the coveted trophy. In the end, it was Capariet who came out on top. He took home P50,000 worth of Family Mart food packages, which he donated to Barangay Western Bicutan. By the same token, each celebrity racer took home P10,000 worth of Family Mart food packages that were donated to their respective barangays.
For the premier round, it was Inigo Anton who bagged top honors, followed by Russell Cabrera and Corban Guerrero taking second and third place, respectively. Anton will take home a new racing simulator fitted with goodies such as OMP Full Racing Seat, Seven Star Garage Sim Racing Frame, Logitech G29 Wheel, LG HD TV unit, OMP Racing Suit, and OMP Helmet.
The Tuason Racing and Phoenix PULSE #RaceForFrontliners is part of the duo’s Young Drivers E-Sports Program. It allowed participants to get their fill of racing and motorsport even during the quarantine period while raising funds and donating such things as food packs from Family Mart to frontliners who selflessly go about fighting the dreaded COVID-19 virus.
