Aston Martin Lagonda to resume production at Gaydon

As Aston Martin Lagonda prepares to restart production operations at its Gaydon facility, the British carmaker is also hard at work preparing its people for the new normal way of doing things. This is its way of protecting them against the effects of the dreaded coronavirus.

Its Site Operating Procedures are a well-rounded set of protocols that encompass individual, as well as general population well being. It covers everything from social distancing to what PPEs to use and how to use and manage them.

By the same token, it reminds each one to practice good hygiene and proper respiratory etiquette. It also gives its staff a detailed checklist of what to do and things to remember and prepare for before leaving for work, while at work, and upon leaving the site.

All these are designed to ensure the health and well-being of its employees, their families, and the community. With this, Aston Martin Lagonda hopes to fully resume production of its vehicles with minimal risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus.
