Traveling to and from Manila has been every commuter’s nightmare. Instead of reserving our energies for the work that awaits us, it has been wasted on a few hours crawling out to our respective destinations. And the traffic along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) has got worse this morning (September 25).
What’s the reason behind this horrendous traffic? Well, according to a post published by SLEX management, a portion of the northbound lane near Alabang Exit was closed to make way for the construction of the Skyway Project, which caused the carmageddon from Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX) and Susana Heights to Alabang.
The SLEX didn’t give an exact date on when these roads will be reopened, but they assured that the Skyway project will be finished some time in 2020. This Skyway project will be connecting the SLEX to the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).
