After a two-month period, the Enhanced Community Quarantine imposed by the national government on different parts of the country has been eased to either General or Modified ECQ. This means car dealerships such as Motor Image Pilipinas’ Subaru sales and after-sales facilities can re-open and welcome back customers.
Subaru showrooms in different parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will resume operations on May 18 while those in the National Capital Region will re-start on May 20, 2020. Of course, a host of measures will be in place to ensure the health and safety of all customers and employees.
Everyone who enters the facilities will be subject to temperature checks and must fill out a health declaration form. Once inside the showroom, they must wear a face mask and observe physical distancing of at least 1 meter from the next person. Only three people will be allowed inside a display vehicle at any given time.
All vehicles and dealership facilities will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at the start and end of each workday. Sanitation will also be done in between.
As for Preventive Maintenance Service, vehicles with PMS schedules due during the ECQ, along with those whose warranties were set to expire during the same period, will be extended for another 60 days. Those customers who wish to bring in their vehicle for service must set an appointment first with their preferred Subaru dealer as only a safe minimum number of people will be allowed at any given time.
And those who are eager to test drive their dream Subaru can do so by registering at the Subaru Test Drive scheduling website or call their dealer of choice.
All these are part of Subaru’s desire to Welcome Back Customers while still keeping with the new normal way of life.
And for those folks who are still apprehensive about how things will go when dealing with their dealer, here are the answers to your burning questions:
