The 2020 Honda Civic RS Turbo gets a new shade of Ignite Red Metallic

It’s no secret that many people are drawn to anything new. Even if it be a simple refresh like say, the 2020 Honda Civic RS Turbo, which was just unveiled today.

Honda Cars Philippines hopes that the subtle update to its iconic Civic nameplate will keep those few folks looking for a compact sedan interested. It retains most of the styling cues that have made the current-generation Civic a hit, such s the low and wide stance, the RS Turbo blacked out accents, and the 18-inch Belma Black rims that give the top-spec Civic variant an aggressive and sporty vibe.

Stepping inside reveals an all-leather interior that is complemented by a 7-inch Advanced Display Audio System featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This, along with tech such as push-start button, electronic parking brake, a digital instrument cluster, and other cool toys make life comfortable even on the go.

The top-tier Civic RS Turbo is still powered by a 173bhp 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC turbo four cylinder that boasts punchy acceleration yet better than average fuel economy.

For 2020, the RS Turbo gets an exclusive Ignite Red Metallic paint finish that replaces the Rally Red hue. This is a darker shade of red that aims to make the car look even more aggressive.
