The Genesis brand, Hyundai’s luxury division, is growing. Its line-up that was mainly composed of sedans of varying sizes, along with an SUV, is now joined by its newest member. Enter the Genesis GV70.
From the get-go, you’ll notice that this compact crossover has a dynamic and sporty vibe. Genesis even dubs it as Athletic Elegance, referring to the strong lines and details found on the entire vehicle. It possesses that dual line that is a trait of the entire stable since the G90.
Then there is that dramatic C-pillar and sloping rear roofline. This is complemented by the upright exhausts that add a nice touch. These same pipes are replaced by oval-shaped ones on the Sport model, along with blacked out accents.
Step inside and you will find a large 14.5-inch display sitting proudly atop the dash. This complements the 12.3-inch instrument cluster screen and ovoid shapes on the dash and other parts of the interior. It’s a playful touch that has a bit of elegance to it.
Genesis has not given any powertrain or mechanical details, however, so we’ll have to make do with these photos for now. But we’ll have these for you once they become available.
