As we continue to try and get on with our lives amid the still-present pandemic, The Home of Rolls-Royce announces that its Global Center of Luxury Manufacturing Excellence is West Sussex has resumed its two-shift operations.
This comes just four moths after the company voluntarily suspended operations last March when the lockdown was declared. It likewise comes just 2 weeks after the global reveal of the all-new Ghost.
It is a timely move as demand for the new Ghost, as well as other Rolls-Royce motor cars has been increasing. This is particularly true in countries and regions where the peak of the pandemic has passed.
Despite this opening up, Rolls-Royce motor cars top brass are not about to take any chances with the health and well-being of its workforce. Strict health and hygiene measures are still very much in place. This means constant cleaning and sanitation, social distancing, wearing of face masks and PPEs, and health checks, just to name a few.
With this, the Home of Rolls-Royce goes back to pre-pandemic levels when it comes to operations. But hopefully, it will be safer this time around.
