Kia Philippines is one of those companies that has an extensive line-up of Sport Utility Vehicles. From the small-ish Seltos to the 7-seat Sorento, there’s one for every need and want. Apparently, it’s not enough, says Kia. This is why it is about to give us the Stonic.
Yes, you read that right. The Stonic subcompact crossover is coming to the Philippines this October. While no technical details were given by the Korean carmaker’s Philippine arm, it did say that it will be featured-packed with tech and safety gear.
It will naturally boast of the latest tech such as a large infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as storage cubbyholes and spaces to keep up with one’s connected and ever mobile lifestyle.
Even if it is considered as a subcompact crossover, it will still packed with Parking Sensors, Reverse Camera, Hill Start Assist, and Electronic Stability Control—amenities that make driving and maneuvering safer and much easier.
First seen in Frankfurt in 2017, the new Stonic is set to bring excitement to the class when it enters the market this October. Do stay tuned for that one.
