Lotus Exige 410 20th anniversary edition gets retro-inspired visual upgrades

To celebrate the nameplate’s 20th birthday

It’s hard to believe that the Lotus Exige nameplate has been around for 20 years. To celebrate this occasion, the British sportscar maker gives us a special Exige 20th anniversary edition with a host of visual and equipment upgrades.

Taking its cue from the Exige Sport 410, the 20th anniversary edition gets retro styling cues such as a body colored roof, side air intakes, and rear wing. The shark fin-shaped stone chip protector is complemented by a silhouette of the Series 1 on places like the fender and rear bumper

Inside, more of that Series 1 silhouette appears on the seat backrests, along with the 20 logo which can also be seen on the outside of the car. As for special edition equipment, Lotus gives the car kit that would have otherwise been optional extras. These include satellite radio, Alcantara steering wheel, cruise control, and forged alloy wheels. Lightweight exhausts, lithium-ion battery, and carbon fiber sill trim are options one can specify.

Buyers can also specify the car’s special color, which include shades such as Chrome Orange, Laser Blue, and Calyso Red. Fans will note that these are retro-inspired hues.

The Lotus Exige 410 20th anniversary edition is now available to order and will be delivered later this year.
