The Mitsubishi Mirage G4: Simplistic sophistication

Simple with a touch of sophistication. This is the best way to describe Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation’s smallest sedan, the Mirage G4.

While its three-box profile may look simple, details like sleek character lines and that diamond-shaped grille give it a sense of style. In true Mitsubishi fashion, all these elements serve a purpose as they help in the car’s efficient performance.

This efficiency can be seen from the car’s ability to achieve fuel consumption figures of up to 23km/L in highway driving. This, thanks to that miserly 1.2-liter three-cylinder mill with MIVEC variable valve timing. It can be paired with either a manual or CVT.

And even if the Mirage G4 is classified as an economy car, it does not scrimp on features that make life on the road more convenient. The top-spec GLS variant gets goodies like Keyless Operation System that makes for keyless entry and start, a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and navigation, as well as Welcome and Coming Home lights that keep the position and headlights on for a few seconds when you approach and walk away from the vehicle, respectively.

Despite its small footprint, the Mirage G4 offers a spacious cabin for 5 adults and equally cavernous trunk. This makes it an ideal car for small families or individuals with active lifestyles.
