The new BMW 4 Series makes its way to the Philippines

A little over half a year since its world premiere last June, SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp brings the dynamic BMW 4 Series into the Philippine market.

Available in two variants, the BMW 4 Series Coupe serves up the same styling cues of its Concept4 prototype but adds that distinct BMW vibe. The large kidney grille up front, for instance, is flanked by slim yet bright LED headlamps and LED fog lights.

The look up front is complemented by a sleek and stylish side profile with dynamic character lines and just the right amount of fender bulges. The 420i M Sport model even adds the M bodykit for that truly sporty flavor.

Step inside and you will get the typical luxurious yet functional BMW interior. The 420i Model Advantage gets Sensotec leather seating, while its M Sport sibling receives Vernasca leather for a sportier and more premium touch. Each one naturally comes with an 8.8-inch iDrive infotainment display as part of BMW’s Live Cockpit interface. The infotainment display puts occupants in total control of various functions.

This being a BMW, the true heart lies under the hood in the form of a 2.0-liter TwinPower four-cylinder engine that puts out 184bhp and 221lb-ft of torque. Mated to an 8-speed Steptronic gearbox (Steptronic Sport for the M Sport), it promises potent performance out on the road.

Taking its cue from almost 90 years of BMW coupe tradition, the new BMW 4-series promises to give that trademark BMW driving pleasure wrapped in a sporty yet still practical coupe package.

The BMW 4-series Coupe is available in the following variants:

  • 420i Model Advantage: P3,990,000
  • -420i M Sport: P4,590,000
