The Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup gears up for live and virtual action this July

Around a year ago, events such as the Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup were held virtually in order to give motorsport fans their racing fix while still keeping them safe during the pandemic. With restrictions slowly easing, however, Toyota Motor Philippines and Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines are now going back to the racetrack for this year’s TGR Vios Cup.

Slated for July 2, 2022 at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga, the first leg of the three-leg Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup will feature two main events: the Circuit Championship and the Autocross Challenge. The  Circuit Championship brings together professional and up-and-coming racers who will vie for top honors in the Sporting, Super Sporting, and Promotional classes.

The Autocross Challenge, on the other hand, will pit celebrities, influencers, and members of the motoring media against each other to see how good they are on the racetrack. This will likewise be the venue where e-racers competing the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup can take what they’ve got on the racing simulator and bring it to the actual racetrack.

The 2022 Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup is brought to you in cooperation with Petron and Bridgestone. It is also made possible thanks to the support of Brembo, Denso, OMP, Tuason Racing, AVT, 3M, ROTA, MyToyota Wallet, and Kinto One. 

The July 2, 2022 race will kick off at 9:30am and will likewise be streamed live via Toyota Motor Philippines’ and Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines’ Facebook and Youtube channels.
