These are Hyundai’s COVID-ready public utility vehicles

With more parts of the country, including Metro Manila, shifting to General Community Quarantine, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc puts forward its proposed Public transport prototypes that have been deemed COVID-ready.

The Hyundai H200, HD36, and HD505 Modern Jeepney Class 2 have been fitted with safety gear that comply with the strict guidelines set by the Department of Transportation. The said vehicles wil be on loan to the agency for its Libreng Sakay for Frontliners.

The said vehicles are fitted with individual seats in lieu of the bench seats. There are also plastic dividers and hand sanitizer dispensers in strategic locations. Apart from this special floor mats and contactless payment systems are installed, particularly for those that will be for commercial use.

It’s part of HARI’s efforts to try and contain the spread of the coronavirus.. This time, it’s moving forward under the new normal way of life and commuting.
