The Bentley Continental GT3 Pikes Peak runs on renewable fuel and is ready to climb up the hill

Two years after setting a record at the famous Pikes Peak, Bentley is all set to make a comeback with its Continental GT3 Pikes Peak. This time, however, the racer will run on renewable fuels.

With a large rear wing and new rear diffuser, the Continental GT3 Pikes Peak looks ready to climb up the 4,298m hill with ease. Helping it out will be a cooling air scoop that sits in place of the rear window and helps improve cooling efficiency.

The highlight of this year’s racecar is a modified version of the carmaker’s 4.0-liter V8 that can take in up to 85% of clean fuel or biofuel, which reduces greenhouse gasses by the same amount. Despite this, it will have more than enough power to make it up the hill with gusto.

Driven by Rhys Millen, the Bentley Continental GT3 Pikes Peak will compete in the upcoming Pikes Peak Hill Climb.
