A sonnet is known in literary circles as a form of poetry that originated in the Court of the Holy Roman Emperor in the 13th century. Pretty soon, the Sonet will be Kia’s newest SUV that’s set to be unveiled soon.
The South Korean carmaker says that the Sonet, a new compact SUV coming from its Indian subsidiary, looks to inject more dynamism into the segment. This is seen by the signature Tiger Nose grille with a three-dimensional geometric effect.
While Kia did not give too many details about its latest offering, it did say that it will be aimed at younger buyers looking for a stylish ride. Aimed at the likes of the recently-launched Suzuki S-Presso, it seems to target the urban dweller who wants that bit of adventurous vibe in their ride.
First seen at the 2020 Delhi Auto Show in New Delhi, India, the Kia Sonet is set to be revealed within the year.
