As Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) re-opens more dealerships in different parts of the country, it likewise resumes operations at its Santa Rosa, Laguna factory. The Japanese carmaker’s Philippine plant began work last May 18, 2020.
This follows the guidelines set by the government as it relaxes the community quarantine rules to allow businesses such as TMP to restart its manufacturing, sales, and after-sales activities. Under the guidelines, only a single shift will be reporting for work to comply with the 50 percent employee requirement.
At the same time, all Team Members must observe social distancing measures, proper hand hygiene, and don personal protective equipment. All these will help ensure that everyone stays healthy and virus free.
It’s all part of Toyota’s continuing bid to ensure the well being of the country and its people.
